Over the past 30 years, humankind has developed Standards certifying the construction of buildings according to “Green” technologies, which ensure the “Sustainable Development” of countries and create an environmentally friendly and favorable environment for human life and work. These are the standards: “Passive House”; BREEAM; LEED; SAR-SPZS; WELL; CASBEE and others. It should be borne in mind that each of the standards was developed in countries for the specifics of the climate, energy supply, traditional design, and construction technologies and mentality for the country. And therefore, it requires an analysis of the appropriateness of the application in general or selected parts of the standards and adaptation to the climate and the specifics of the traditions of Russia and its regions.
Based on many years of research by European and American institutions dealing with health problems, life expectancy, causes of illness and premature death, the World Health Organization (WHO) concluded that 50% of the cause of illness and premature death depends on the state of the environment in the premises in which a person is for a long time.
For Russia, with its cold, sharply continental, and hot climate in the southern regions, this is especially important. With the low energy efficiency of residential buildings, both private and apartments in multi-story buildings, built according to the current standards, creating a healthy internal environment in them is financially unavailable for 95% of citizens, both in terms of construction costs and subsequent operation.
